In May 2024 we launched our Junior Coaches Program. A program aimed to inspire our young leaders to further their skills, knowledge and development in all aspects, while also investing in their character development. We want to provide an opportunity for our older teens to exit the academy with tools, skills and knowledge they can use in real world development.
This program will endeavor to equip the teens with real life skills, such as social skills, leadership skills, financial and time management skills, etc.
We source various training and development opportunities. Which will enable them to build up a cv appropriate for job applications in their future. They receive wages for the time they give to the academy. This motivates their commitment to the program as well as gives them experience in earning and managing their own income.
We hope that this program becomes a sustainable way to further sow into the lives and development of our youth and local communities. Inevitably adding to positive upliftment for our future as a community.
Our JC’s therefore form a valuable part of our team in all training and events.
