Every Wednesday between 15:30-17:00, we go out to teach life skills through soccer with boys in Lwandle.
We started this project in the township of Lwandle at the beginning of April 2013. On average, we have 30 boys coming to these sessions, which are held on the 3G astroturf pitch in the heart of Lwandle. These boys have enjoyed playing with our boys from Macassar and Sir Lowry’s Pass and from time to time friendly’s against outside teams.
While we sift through some red tape regarding usage of the field, this particular project is sadly on hold until further notice.
